Conclusion.
In conclusion, Catholic schools are faith based schools and exist today through the existence of section 93 of the Constitution Act. Catholic schools strive for a Catholic education that inspires students to learn and to serve God. To work in a Catholic school, an employee must be aware of the Catholic theological principles and be able to implement them in their teaching and their daily lives. Catholic school teachers are held to a higher standard because they are required to be exemplary Catholic role models for their students. A Catholic school teacher must be willing to have a career and a life that is in unison with the Catholic faith. Some controversial issues may arise, that may seem unfair to most people, but it is important to understand the theology behind the reasoning of the school boards. In order to maintain employment at a Catholic school, a teacher needs to be aware of the policies and regulations that the district has applied onto them. All in all, working in a Catholic school can be a gratifying experience as long as one understands the expectations and requirements that the Catholic faith demands of them.
